Used products:

Massage in wet hair and scalp for 1 to 2 minutes. For best results, we recommend shampooing for 3 to 4 minutes so that the active ingredients have time to work. Then rinse it out.

For optimal results, the hair should be washed 3-5 times a week with this shampoo. Use in combination with the Foligain conditioner for optimal results.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation, redness or discomfort occurs, stop using immediately and consult an authorized healthcare provider.

A 2019 study tested the effectiveness of Trioxidil treatment in preventing hair loss:

  • This study involved 30 men and 30 women between the ages of 18-75.
  • The subjects used Foligain shampoo, Foligain conditioner and Foligain lotion for a period of 120 days and the results were assessed by a clinical expert.
  • The subjects used the shampoo and conditioner at least 3-5 times a week and the topical treatment (the lotion) twice daily.

What were the results of this study?

Hair strength and decrease in hair loss improved significantly over the four-month assessment period.

The study further showed that the shine, volume, thickness, softness and health of the scalp improved statistically each month.

The self-perception questionnaires, completed by the subjects, gave very favorable responses to all statements at month 4, indicating that the subjects' evaluation of the products was very favorable.

It's okay'ish

The shampoo is good overall, but I didn't notice any changes so far. The only problem is smell - I don't like and my wife as well. As a result, I'll try something else.

Pleasant fragrance, smooth hair

Haven't been using it for long, but I fragrance is important to me and this one smells more pleasant than other products.
I cannot yet tell how much effect it will have on hair growth since I've not been using it for long, but it does make my hair feel pleasant.
Keep in mind the instructions, unlike others this product recommends leaving in the shampoo for longer and the conditioner for only about a minute.

Nitpick with the packaging: using small-font white text on orange background is not a good idea, it looks nice but it's difficult to read.

Fijne shampoo

Ik gebruik de shampoo nog niet lang genoeg voor een zichtbaar resultaat, en dat verwacht ik ook niet, maar mijn haar voelt wel voller aan en ziet er gezonder uit.
Voorlopig blijf ik deze shampoo zeker gebruiken!

Gelijk voelbaar verschil

Ik gebruik de shampoo en conditioner nog niet zo lang, maar bij het eerste gebruik merk je zeker wel hoe goed deze set je hoofdhuid en haar zuivert! Ook voelt je haar gelijk al dikker aan. Wellicht nu (na 1 maand) nog lastig het verschil te zien, maar we wachten in spanning af. Het voelt in ieder geval goed!
