Copper tripeptide
This substance can improve scalp blood flow and reduce inflammation of the scalp and hair follicles.
Glycolic acid
It helps remove stubborn product buildup caused by shampoos and conditioners. It also acts as a superficial exfoliant, removing dirt and dead skin cells from the scalp and improving scalp health. It penetrates the cuticle of the hair shaft like water and improves the smoothness, protection and manageability of both healthy and chemically damaged hair.

Salicylic acid
It exfoliates scalp cells in two ways. First, it loosens cells of the outer layer of skin by dissolving what is known as the cement material of the cells. Second, it lowers the pH of the outer layer, making it moist and supple. Thus, it acts as an exfoliant, helping the skin to break down and shed dead skin cells. It is effective in treating dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis.
Witch Leaf extract
Als known as Hamamelis Virginiana, this extract contains a high concentration of tannins, which helps reduce inflammation, remove excess skin fats, fights bacteria and prevents ingrown hairs and their frequency.

For maximum results, the Scalp Peeling Serum should be used in combination with the other scalp products of the Neofollics Scalp Therapy line.

Apply it to the scalp and massage it in. Leave it on for at least 5 minutes. The Peeling Serum is a pre-treatment and will ensure that sebum accumulation and dead skin cells are loosened. Then follow it up with the Exfoliating Shampoo and the Nourishing Mask.

Do I need to the whole Scalp Therapy pack or just some of the products?

If you only suffer from dandruff and itching, Neofollics Exfoliating Shampoo on its own is probably sufficient. But if you suffer from more serious scalp problems such as psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis, we recommend that you use the entire Scalp Therapy package (Exfoliating Shampoo, Nourishing Mask, Peeling Serum).

Should I continue to use the Neofollics Scalp Therapy products, or can I also use it as a temporary course?

If you suffer from severe scalp problems such as seborrheic eczema, dandruff, flakes or an irritated scalp, you can use Scalp Therapy as a temporary course. Use the products 3-4 times a week until the scalp problems are resolved. After that, you can reduce the use to once a week to maintain the good condition of your scalp.

If you use Scalp Therapy products because you want to both stimulate your hair growth and prevent scalp problems (eg because you often have dandruff), you can use the Scalp Therapy products as your standard shampoo or hair mask.

I use it maybe once or twice a week and find it good. Use it according to instructions, i.e., massage it into the scalp and let it stay for maybe an hour or so before using the Neofolics shampoo. Find it refreshing and the feeling of a clean scalp at least for a while. Worth trying I believe.
