This serum is formulated to target DHT (dihydrotestosterone), one of the main causes of hereditary hair loss. It contains a clinically researched Trichogen complex enriched with nutrients that block DHT at the hair follicles. This prevents further hair loss and stimulates healthy regrowth.

The lightweight, non-greasy formula absorbs quickly and nourishes the scalp with essential ingredients such as:

  • Acetyl Tyrosine: strengthens skin cells, stimulates hair growth and inhibits DHT

  • Biotin

    This is one of the most important vitamins against hair loss. Vitamin B8 is necessary for maintaining healthy hair. It contributes to the production of keratin, important for healthy hair, scalp and nails.

  • Niacinamide

    Vitamin B3 has an anti-inflammatory effect. Niacinamide also improves blood flow in the scalp, allowing nutrients to better reach the hair and scalp.

  • Trioxidil

    This is a triple anti-thinning complex for the hair. Specially developed by a team of hair care experts, it contains bioactive ingredients that are clinically proven to revitalize hair and scalp.

  • Panax ginseng

    This root extract stimulates blood flow to the scalp and re-energises the hair follicles.

Apply the serum to your scalp three times a day. Gently massage it in with your fingertips for several minutes. Leave the product to work its magic for at least four hours, or even all day or night.

For best results, use this serum in combination with the Foligain shampoo and conditioner and the Foligain hair-growth capsules.

Please note: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.

A study from 2019 tested the effectiveness of the Trioxidil treatment in preventing hair loss:

  • Thirty men and 30 women aged 18-75 years participated in this study.
  • The subjects used Foligain shampoo, Foligain conditioner and Foligain lotion for a period of 120 days and the results were assessed by a clinical expert.
  • Subjects used the shampoo and conditioner at least 3-5 times a week and the topical treatment (the lotion) twice daily.

What were the results of this study?

The strength of the hair and reduction in hair loss improved significantly over the four-month assessment period.

The study also showed that there was a statistically significant improvement in shine, volume, thickness, softness and scalp health every month.

The self-perception questionnaires, completed by the subjects, gave very positive responses to all statements in month 4, indicating that the subjects' assessment of the products was very favourable.
